Multi-Platinum Rockers Our Lady Peace to Headline an Incredible Line-up at the TELUS Street Festival

TORONTO, Ontario – The 100th Grey Cup Festival is excited to announce a line-up of free concerts taking place on the OLG Stage smack in the middle of all of the action at the TELUS Street Festival.  With over 20 bands performing over three days from Friday, November 23 – Sunday, November 25, the Festival Committee is thrilled to give back to the fans and the City of Toronto by presenting such a high calibre of talent.

The party gets started on Friday November 23 at 4pm with Montreal’s ERA 9, winners of the Sirius XM Satellite Rock the Grey Cup competition.  Synth-pop rockers Faber Drive, with the hit song “G-Get Up and Dance” will headline Friday's entertainment, which also includes hip-hop artist Classified, indie rockers Rikers, the legendary Platinum Blonde, and hard rockers Bleeker Ridge.

On Saturday November 24, fans will be treated to an eclectic mix, featuring "Canada's Premier Party Band", the Carpet Frogs. Platinum-selling pop sensation Victoria Duffield, pop-rocker/songwriter Fefe Dobson, and off her tour supporting Carrie Underwood throughout Canada, is CCMA Rising Star Award Winner Kira Isabella. The 2011 Juno Award winners for Best New Group of the Year, Said the Whale, will be bringing their alt-rock, followed by 2010 Polaris Prize-nominated Zeus; their final Canadian show before jetting off on their European tour. Headlining Saturday night will be influential Canadian rock group Our Lady Peace, performing fan favourites and new tracks from their 2012-release Curve.

On Sunday November 25, Frank’s RedHot Tailgate Party gets things going with the tropical urban rhythms of Bombolessé and Irish punkers The Mahones. Multi-platinum alt-rockers Spirit of the West will have the crowd dancing in the street with “Home For a Rest”, which is exactly what they’ll need to do after the last 10 days, followed by the 100th Grey Cup game!

The TELUS Street Festival is located on Front Street, from Simcoe St, to John St and north to Wellington. Fans will be treated to award-winning ribbers from Canada’s Largest Ribfest, quench their thirst at the massive outdoor beer garden, play some pickup football on the CN Field on John St., and participate in the countless number of activities lining the street.  The TELUS Street Festival is guaranteed to be the party of the century!

Don’t miss out when some of Canada’s best and brightest perform live on stage at the TELUS Street Festival absolutely FREE! For a complete schedule, go to www.100thgreycupfestival.ca/en/events
